About Our Instruction

Road-Ready Driver Training School implements many of the most recent developments in automobile driving and traffic safety. Instructors are continually apprised of new innovations of steering, braking, crash avoidance, and traffic engineering. We are members of the Nebraska Driver and Safety Education Association, a professional organization of driver education instructors; and member of the Nebraska Association of School Boards.

William Saxton is the lead instructor of the driving school and has over forty years experience instructing in driving and traffic safety. Much of Mr. Saxton's experience has come from his service with the Nebraska State Patrol. During his Patrol career, he taught driving procedures to hundreds of drivers from the general public to professional emergency drivers (firefighters, ambulance and law enforcement officers).

One highlight in his professional driver training was the development of the emergency driving course used by the State Patrol involving both classroom and behind-the-wheel driving.

Mr. Saxton teaches a course for the schooling of driver education instructors at a local college. The course, approved by Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles, is taught semi-annually.

All instructors at the Road-Ready Driver Training School have backgrounds of professional driving and/ or teaching and are certified by the State of Nebraska. The school is licensed, inspected, and audited regularly by the State of Nebraska.
