Road Ready Driver Training offers the American Automobile
Association’s “Managing Visibility, Time & Space” as our driver
improvement course. The driver improvement course is for
experienced drivers who desire to have a course offering driving
skill and knowledge enhancement in a classroom setting. The
eight-hour course is typically taught in two, four-hour
sessions. With special arrangements, the course may be taught at
a location other than the Road Ready Driver Training
classrooms.

The driver improvement is offered once-a-month at our driving
school. The eight-hour course is taught on two evenings, typically
from 6:00-10:00 p.m. Students must attend the eight hours of class
for successful completion.
Driver
Improvement and Department of Motor Vehicles
The course is
approved by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles for use of
students desiring point credit for voluntarily attending a driver
improvement course. Such voluntary attendance may be used for a
two (2) point credit to a driving record prior to twelve points
being accumulated. This point credit may be utilized once every
five years.
The course is
also approved by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles for use
of students when being required to attend for:

Reinstatement after point revocation
w
Under
age 21, six (6)-point accumulation
w Employment Driving Permit (completion required within 60 days of
permit issuance)
Upon
completion of the course, Road Ready Driver Training will forward
the necessary documentation to the Department of Motor Vehicles
for appropriate notations on a driving record.
Cost
of the class is $50.00.
